Dell E170S, E190S & P2210 Monitors Released [Energy Efficient 'Green' Monitors]

Dell have released three new eco-friendly ‘green’ flat panel monitors in the form of the Dell P2210, E170S and E190S which sport screen sizes of 17″, 19″ and 22″ respectively and which boast Energy Star compliance and EPEAT Gold ratings offering both energy efficiency and a lesser environmental impact (thanks to using circuit boards with halogen-free laminates and chassis plastics utilising 25% recycled plastics.

Offering 4:3 aspect ratio (E170S and E190S) and 16:10 widescreen aspect ratio screens, the new eco-friendly TN (Twisted Nematic) Dell monitors offer 1280 x 1024 maximum screen resolutions, or up to 1680 X 1050 resolution in the case of the widescreen P2210, and all offer 5ms response time with 250 CD/m2 brightness whilst, in terms of connectivity your looking at just VGA for the E170S and E190S whilst the 22″ P2210 offers VGA, DVI-D with HDCP, and/or DisplayPort connectivity.

Pricing-wise the 22″ P2210 widescreen monitor will set you back $240 with the 19″ E190S coming in at $130 and the 17″ E170S sitting at $110. All three monitors are available as of now.
